HARNMASTER

A newly formed group that meets every other week to undertake adventures, using the Harnmaster Role Playing System.

The group, struggling to come up with a name, although "The Smelly Sneakers"  and  "Twigs and Puddle" have been put forth as possible names, is comprised of:

Alethor of Tangley- a dim-witted, giant of a man (6'6") tall and over 250-lbs is a former Caravan Guard and  Riverman, turned Adventurer. His lack of intelligence is made up by his loyalty and bravery. Alethor is bent set on trying to find his long missing father, whom he believes was on a secret mission for the Church of Larani. This quest for information has gotten him into some unique situations and met up with some interesting individuals.

Gareth of Visporten- one time serf, who had managed to buy his freedom; he spent most of his youth working with the local Woodward of Visporten Manor, and later, after leaving the manor, as a Caravan Guard. He was unceremoniousy dismissed under a cloud of suspicion after some cargo went missing while he was standing guard; Gareth hung around the capital city for a short while, and when he was unable to find work with the local caravans, he set out looking for adventure.

Belkar of Hiletas- a former Yeoman and Woodward of the Lord of Hiletas Manor, Belkar had spent the last 5 years hunting poachers and miscreants, helping with on the lord's hunts, and tending the lord's lands, with periodic jaunts into the forest after barbarians. He had gained some what of a reputation after killing a barbarian warrior in single combat, and now wears the slain warrior's helmet as a memento. Belkar growing restless from the monotony of working for the caravans, vow to find some excitement and adventure in the upcoming year. 

 Together, they set out to find adventure and maybe strike it rich in the wilds of Harn.
