Hi Ian. To start planning a meetup go to the front page of the group. You will see a spot that says "Let's meetup and..." Fill out the information it prompts you for and then click "Let's meetup". If you get stuck let me know.

Hey, I'm still plowing through the 4e books. I haven't actually played my first game yet. But I would love to get together once I figure out which way is up. :P What are some of the things that you really like about the 2e edition?

It might be easier to ask Pathfinder questions in the Pathfinder thread, because otherwise I'll be filling up your greetings with what appears to be a one-sided conversation. Then people will start to think I'm a creepy stalker and they might not want to join the VDG. Soon, members will be dropping like flies (Meetup members, not that other kind which would creep out even more people) and ultimately the entire structure of our society will collapse in upon itself.

But yeah, bards get spells.

Iandude, while having a book at hand is very useful, you never really need one. I'll have my laptop which has Players Handbook and Advanced Player's Guide on it. If you want to have a look through the rules, you can also check out the Pathfinder SRD on Paizo.com (just Google it, can't miss it.)

Sup Iandude. I'm running a game for new players to Pathfinder, and that's gonna be on Saturday. You're absolutely welcome to sign on, and if you like it, come on the next Saturday too. It's just going to be a series of one-shot scenarios, but I promise I'll write up something that'll really show off the game's strengths.

The goal is to encourage somebody to start up their own Pathfinder group. Your chances of finding a weekly game will definitely increase if you sign up for Saturday.
