Introduction
Hello, my name is Michael. I am rather new to Victoria and am trying to either find or start a gaming group. This seems like one of the better places to start.
Board, Card, or Role Playing Games? Or is there something else?
I have played many board games over the years - Settlers of catan, House on Haunted Hill, Robo-Rally were/are my regulars and I've played many others in one-shots. My main focus is RPGs. I've played and DM'd in D&D 3.5 and 4e, though my focus has shifted to the Warhammer 40K RPGs - Deathwatch and Dark Heresy for the most part.
What's your favourite game?
At the moment, it's Deathwatch. Where there's a group of players who are familiar with WH40K and can all RP as Space Marines, it's an awesome thing to see.
Do you have a favourite genre? If so, what is it?
Not particularly - I've grown bored of the standard fantasy-style for the time being but I'm pretty open to trying anything
What are you looking for as a member of this Meetup group?
I want to get to know some people since I'm new to Victoria. This seems like a good way to start.
